Don't Miss the First Farmers Market in August!

This Thursday, August 4th, come to the Gail Zink Memorial Park from 5pm to 7pm for the Farmers Market. Come for the ultimate Southern comfort food, Gumbo! Indigo Mack is making a "local" Chicken and Sausage Gumbo served with Rice and Green Salad, Vegetarian Red Beans and Rice, plus Blackberry Peach Cobbler for dessert. Dinner is $15 per plate and proceeds benefit the local Farm-to-School Program. 

Vendors include: Marble Mountain Farm, Leona's Jewelry and Baked Goods, Family Resource Center Play Booth for Kids, Yoga on the Lawn by Morgan, and much more. Stop by the Market Info Booth to check out the produce donated by Yeager Family Farm and Jeff Ellison. Proceeds from sales go towards Hope for Happy Camp, Inc.'s non-profit 501(c)(3) application. 

Remember, the market accepts WIC and Senior FMNP checks, CalFresh EBT (for produce purchases) and cash. We hope to see you there this Thursday, August 4th at the Farmers Market!
