Education, Outreach & AwarenessOur programming focuses on programs that all residents, from youth to families and seniors, can learn and benefit from. Through educational programs like evidence-based youth groups and parenting classes, to outreach activities that reduce mental health stigma and promote healthy eating and an active lifestyle. We bring awareness about current topics through community events and Facebook posts.

Community Food ProgramsThe community center works to improve food conditions in our isolated, rural community. We operate several programs, including the Happy Camp Farmers Market and Commodity Food Distributions. Our goal is to ensure all residents have access to healthy foods. We also want to provide low income residents with access to food resources. Through our partnerships with Great Northern Services, Modoc-Siskiyou Community Action Agency and the Ecology Center, we're moving forward toward these goals.

Core Services & Support ProgramsWe offer many services and programs from CalFresh, Medi-cal, and GNS Energy application assistance to Behavioral Health referrals. We provide playgroups, playroom access, workshops and parenting classes, community events, community meeting spaces, Veterans' socials, and more! The community center is home to many support programs such as WIC distribution events, weekly behavioral health services, monthly Veteran's assistance, and dance classes in the dance studio.
